Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to the Community Center! We’re excited to have you here! To keep things safe, clean, and fun for everyone, please take a moment to check out these guidelines:

General Guidelines

  • Check In First: Please sign in and show your membership card before your workout.
  • Age Policy:
    • Children ages 13 and under must be with a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
    • To use the Community Center independently, guests ages 14–17 need a signed parent permission form on file.
  • Equipment Use: It’s first-come, first-served. Thanks for sharing!
  • Respect Each Other: This is a judgment-free zone. Let’s keep language and behavior positive.
  • Be Courteous: Avoid sitting on equipment between sets if others are waiting.
  • No Photos or Videos: Please keep everyone’s privacy intact.
  • Music: Use headphones or earbuds when listening to music.
  • No Smoking or Substances: No smoking, vaping, drugs, or alcohol.
  • Training Policy: Only authorized staff can provide training or rehab services. Personal training will be available in the future for an additional fee.
  • Track Lanes: Walkers should use only the two inside lanes, while passing must occur in the outside lanes. The same rules apply if you have a stroller. Always move in the direction the arrow indicates, and keep moving.
  • Basketball/Volleyball: Open play is first-come, first-served. No hanging on rims or nets. Hosting a game or tournament? Reserve time with us at the front desk (7 days’ notice, please!)
  • Pickleball: Open court play is available when courts are not reserved or programmed. Coming in the fall: Pickleball Court Rentals (times may vary when it’s busy). Make sure your paddle is appropriate for the court surface (paddles available for use at the front desk, limited quantity). 
  • Keep It Clean: Toss your trash where it belongs.
  • Food & Drinks: No food or gum. Water and sports drinks are welcome in closed, non-breakable bottles.

Dress Code

  • Wear proper workout gear (t-shirts, shorts, sweats, etc.).
  • No jeans, slacks, or clothing with studs (they can damage the equipment).
  • Closed-toe shoes only—no sandals, Crocs®, cleats, or bare feet.

Cleanliness & Equipment Use

  • Wipe it down: Please clean equipment after use (wipes/spray provided).
  • Be gentle: Use equipment as intended and let us know if anything breaks.
  • Time Limit: During busy times, limit cardio machine use to 30 minutes.
  • Tidy Up: Return all equipment to its proper place after you’re done.
  • Keep it inside: Please keep the equipment in the designated workout zones.
