The Holland Charter Township Recreation Department depends on our parent and volunteer coaches for most of our programs to make leagues an overall success.

Volunteer Application and Background Check Details

For those interested in volunteering with the Holland Township Recreation Department in any capacity—head coach, assistant coach, parent helper, program volunteer, etc.—you must complete the Holland Charter Township Recreation Department Volunteer Application and accompany this completed application with a Government-issued photo ID, which permits us to do a background check.

Concussion Training Course Details

The State of Michigan and the Holland Charter Township Recreation Department require that all coaches, employees, volunteers, and other adults involved with a youth athletic activity complete an online training program for concussion awareness.

The Holland Township Recreation Department requires that once you complete this online course, a Holland Township Recreation Staff Member needs to receive a copy of your course completion certificate. Please see the Concussion Course Details information sheet for more information.
