Holland Township Recreation Department is proud to partner with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department in offering a variety of Safety Classes including Hunters' Safety, Boaters' Safety, Snowmobile Safety, and ORV/ATV Safety for our community. These are the DNR sponsored classes with official certificates being issued upon passing each respective class.

All classes feature size limits and cost $11.00 per class. You must attend the required date(s) for each class in order to obtain your certificate of completion. These classes are open to people of all ages, however, if a participant is under the age of 12, they must be accompanied by a parent during the duration of each class.

All classes are held at the Holland Township Riley Street Fire Station (131 Riley Street * Holland, MI  49424).

Please note that all in-seat / in-person Safety Course offerings (Hunter Safety, Boater Safety, Snowmobile Safety, and ORV/ATV Safety) are currently suspended from orders from the State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
