The Holland Charter Township Community Center is excited to share our 6 indoor dedicated pickleball courts with the community!

We have built out a variety of court play options to include drop-in open play, lessons, clinics, and court reservations!

Winter Pickleball Calendar

Whether you’re starting your day at the 7 AM drop-in pickleball open play time, looking to learn the game for the first time, or reserving a court for your own dedicated time, we have options for all. Community Center members enjoy access to open play times and affordable rates for lessons, clinics, and court rentals. Non-members are always welcome too!

Drop-In Pickleball Lessons

Drop-In Beginner Lessons - Mondays

The drop-in beginner pickleball lessons are a perfect way for new players looking to learn the basics in a fun, low-pressure environment. Limited to 30 participants.

Cost: $15 members / $20 non-members

Advanced Beginner Lessons - Wednesday

The drop-in lessons are designed for players who understand the basics and are ready to take the next step. Limited to 30 participants.

When: Wednesdays
Dates: January 7, 2026- March 25, 2026
Times: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Cost: $15 members / $20 non-members

Advanced Beginner Pickleball Clinic - Monday Evenings in January

This pickleball class is geared toward the pickleball player in the 2.5 range looking to take their game to the next level. In this class, we will work on adding to the basic strokes of pickleball - serving, returning the serve, third shot drops, and dinking.

For this class, you will need a pickleball paddle. Balls will be provided. This four-week clinic is a perfect way for players to bring their game to the next level in a fun, low-pressure environment. Limited to 30 participants- clinic is FULL and currently has a waitlist available!

Dates: January 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2026
Times: 6:00 PM - 7:20 PM

Cost: $65 members / $75 non-members

Two-Handed Backhand Lab - Monday Evenings in January

This Unlock a confident, reliable two-handed backhand. We'll breakdown every situation you'll see on the court - return of serves, third shot drops, resets, dinks, volleys, put-aways, and smart court positioning so you stop avoiding your backhand.

For this class, you will need a pickleball paddle. Balls will be provided. Limited to 30 participants. - There are NINE spots available in this clinic!

101 - 2: Dinks, Resets & Lobs Clinic

The focus of this clinic will help you master dinks, control resets, and use lobs effectively to outsmart your opponents. Ideal for 3.25 - 4.25 players. Limited to 8 participants, a wait list will be available.

When: Friday, January 16, 2026, or Tuesday, January 20, 2026

201 - 2: Drops & Volleys Clinic

The focus of this clinic is on improving your drop shots for smoother transitions and sharpening your volleys for confident net play. Ideal for 3.25 - 4.25 players. Limited to 8 participants, a wait list will be available.

When: Friday, January 30, 2026 or Tuesday, February 3, 2026
Times: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

301 - 2: Returns & Drives Clinic

The focus of this clinic is on honing your return of the serve for better positioning and building powerful, accurate drives to keep your opponents on defense. Ideal for 3.25 - 4.25 players. Limited to 8 participants, a wait list will be available.

When: Friday, February 13, 2026, or Tuesday, February 17, 2026
Times: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Cost: $25 members / $30 non-members

401 -2: Play Strategy Clinic

The focus of this clinic is on smart shot selection, court positioning, and game-time decision-making. It will also review key takeaways from the clinic series to reinforce learning and boost overall match play. Ideal for 3.25 - 4.25 players. Limited to 8 participants, a wait list will be available.

When: Friday, February 27, 2026, or Tuesday, March 3, 2026

How to Reserve a Pickleball Court

All pickleball court reservations at the Holland Charter Township Community Center will be processed through our RecDesk software system and will have a two-week rolling schedule of availability online. All reservations MUST be made online!

Afternoon Time Reservation Blocks Available:

Afternoon court reservations are available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons between 12pm and 4pm.

Reservation Cost:
Holland Charter Township Community Center Members will receive a discount on pickleball court reservations. Please note your membership must be ACTIVE at the time of reservation to receive the discounted rate.

1-Hour Time Block Member Rate - $20.00
2-Hour Time Block Member Rate - $40.00
3-Hour Time Block Member Rate - $60.00
4-Hour Time Block Member Rate - $80.00

1-Hour Time Block Non-Member Rate - $30.00

Note: Rental of a pickleball court provides access to participants only for the reserved time and space. If non-members wish to remain in the facility after their rental for open play, fitness center use, or any other facility amenity, a day pass or membership must be purchased at the front desk.

Prime Time Court Reservation Blocks Available:
2-Hour Time Blocks - 4pm to 6pm OR 6pm to 8pm

Prime Time court reservations are available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 4pm and 8pm at a higher reservation cost.

How to Reserve a Court:
1) Log in to your RecDesk account.
2) Select 'Facilities/Rentals" and filter to "Community Center".
3) Select "Reserve" next to the respective court you wish to rent.
4) Select which date you wish to reserve and fill out the reservation details.
5) Add the reservation to your cart & proceed to checkout to process payment.
